Research

I have worked at the forefront of planetary science research since 2007. My main area of expertise is the geochemical remote sensing of terrestrial bodies.

As part of the science teams for two past missions—Chandrayaan-1 (Indian Space Research Organisation) and MESSENGER (NASA), which orbited the Moon and Mercury, respectively—I was primarily responsible for the analysis and geological interpretation of data from X-ray Spectrometer on each spacecraft. With the geochemical information obtained during the missions, we were able to produce maps of surface composition (i.e., showing the abundance of several rock-forming elements).
